In another example of the benefits of AFG’s back room alignment with the IFA, AFG has engaged Nigel Catchlove on a casual basis to help with our communications. Nigel has been helping IFA for some months now, is highly experienced and has worked in communications at AFPA for 3 years. He has also operated his own company, Parsec Communications, for more than five years.
Nigel will be reviewing and standardising the format and templates for all of AFG communications (letterhead, media releases, news bulletins etc.). Nigel will also help us to pull this News Bulletin together on a more regular basis than we initially planned. He has also helped us to prepare and distribute media releases - the first two recognising the support of Senator Colbeck for AFG and the forest industry and welcoming Senator Ruston who has now assumed responsibility for Forestry after the September Ministerial re-shuffle - he is well placed to assist us with preparing effective government submissions, reviewing/editing policy documents and promoting conferences.
